NOW Scotland event

Now Scotland is launching their COP26 campaign for climate justice and independence in Edinburgh on Monday 1st November at 11am – 12.30pm at the UK Government’s Queen Elizabeth House Headquarters. Event Detail. They are inviting members to join this protest and are especially keen for Edinburgh members to try to make it along to the event. They will be promoting a vision of a Fossil Free Independent Scotland, that takes tackling climate change seriously, unlike the Tory Westminster Government that has wasted Scotland’s natural resources. We need to make sure that our renewable energy resources are not squandered in the same way as the oil wealth has been.
