YES Musselburgh will hold an event in support of our EU citizens
In 1993 the people of Musselburgh stood by the River Esk with Town Twinning friends from Champigny-sur-Marne in France and Rosignano Marittimo in Italy while planting two trees. The celebration marked the formation of the European Single Market. This year we will return with invited guests to mark our continued solidarity with the European Union.
Everyone is welcome to join us at noon on 30th March at the Tolbooth in Musselburgh High Street, EH21 7BZ and walk with us to the trees beside the Electric Bridge at Eskside West (7 min walk).
Guests will be invited to say a few words to mark the occasion
